Rasmussen Reports Has Obama As the Most Electable Candidate2/17/08 Just yesterday, we reported that Obama was not necessarily more electable than Clinton despite rising national numbers but Rasmussen Reports has recently performed general election polls in the following five states: Oregon, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada, and New Hampshire that change that. Even though the individuals being polled by Rasmussen Reports may not collectively be representative of the general voting public, the fact that Obama performs much better against McCain than Clinton is a sign that at least among these voters, they prefer Obama over Clinton. With these polls, Obama has closed the gap in the electoral vote race against McCain but McCain has widened his lead over Clinton.
